Longsight Park.
Planting trees at Longsight Park for National Tree Week in partnership with The Tree Council (no jokes about Treebeard please)

Jumbles Country Park.
Woodland management. Some coppicing, maybe a small amount of hedge laying. Santa hats must be worn as this is the last task before Christmas.

Covid-19 Restrictions

People in high risk groups including the over 70’s, those with long term health issues i.e. cardiac and/or respiratory conditions, immune-suppressed illnesses, or any illness/condition were their ability to fight infection is compromised can not participate on tasks for the time being. Those who are able to join can only attend the work site via their own transport, if car sharing please wear face masks/coverings and sanitise before and after entering the vehicle. All attendees must bring their own food and drink, also their own gloves. Sanitiser or appropriate hand wipes are also advised. While on task volunteers are required to stay at least 2 metres from each other and not share tools.
